Gun control? Is it coming to the U.S? Unless we start pressuring our politicians you can count on it!
I've posted links in other hubs to take the readers to a page that will allow them to contact their senator or congressman, so I wont re-post it here. Please, if the state of this nation matters to you, make those contacts!
The truth of the matter is that when the firearms are outlawed the local agencies charged with “locating the contraband” will use every resource available to determine just where the “contraband” is located. This means that the records for sales, permits, purchases, safety training classes and homeowner's insurance records will be utilized to find the firearms. Ever buy ammunition and where asked for your name, address, ID number? Yea, those records will also be used.
I would personally never encourage anyone to become involved in illegal activities, but....
Gun and Knife trade shows or the purchase of weapons from individuals not licensed to sell them often means opportunity to own a weapon/weapons that in all likely hood aren't listed in any recent records. Happy shopping.
When the ban takes effect all weapons mentioned in any records will be ruthlessly hunted down, collected and destroyed. Unregistered firearms are the easiest to keep hidden.
A door to door search of our homes, businesses, churches and synagogues is a coming reality and we should be prepared. My friend, Doug, recently suggested PVC pipe as a storage unit for firearms. IE., an 8” to 12” section of pipe with a plug glued into one end and a clean out (screw type) glued into the other. If you can prepare now you will have your containment unit on hand and ready to bury with your firearm safely and securely housed inside.
Ridiculous, you say? Better check up on your history! Then find a recording of Hitler's 1929 Munich speech, find a recording of Obama's “first” Chicago speech. I heard these tapes and the comparison in 2007 on one of those overnight AM radio shows. The only major difference between the two speeches is Obama's omission of any reference to the Jewish people. Listen very carefully to each, aren't the similarities frightening? It is this writer's observant opinion that we, as a nation, have had our numbers infiltrated with politicians whose agenda is purely socialistic. We, the people, must take the reins of this un-American government we allowed to rise to power and shut it down! The only way to do this is to pressure the politicians in office now, vote the enemies out and vote patriots into office.
I have heard some hubbers say that the saying "guns don't kill, people kill" is ridiculous and then they go on to talking not only about gun control but taking the guns away entirely.
I don't really know how they can believe what they say.
They say that the only use of guns are to kill. That is partially true but not relevant to the saying.
People can take any object and make it deadly or dangerous. They do this with vehicles, table ware, and even ladders. These items and thousands more were not created to kill, but people have been killed or wounded by them.
Clearly then the least common denominator in all of these items is the person.
A fire can be deadly, but there are also many beneficial uses of fire, and it is determined by the person. An arsonist can set a deadly fire, while a person can cook a mean with fire.
The biggest problem is that even if these people were right about gun, which they are not, taking the guns away for law abiding citizens doesn't protect society. The reason is that the criminal will alway get them, one way or another.

I don't own a gun, I don't hunt, I'm a vegetarian, but unless our citizens are armed, it is very easy for a fascist dictatorship to aris. That is why our founding fathers wrote the Second amendment.
Sheriff Dupnik is responsible for for dereliction of duty, in not sending this kid Jared off for a complete psychiatric evaluation. BTW, he had a record (possession in 2007), so why was he allowed to purchase the gun?
Moreover, his parents were negligent as well, I'm afraid to say.
There will be wrongful death suits against the parents.
