Hi there. I'm James. From time to time I'll be writing a hub to report and/or explore such topics as Preparedness, Family Preservation, Damage Control, Food and Water Storage and Sanitation, just to name a few. I'll even be open to suggestions for topics to be researched, discussed and explored.

I hope that you'll find this informative and educational. I look forward to comments, questions and feedback. You should consider joining the group The Family Preservation Society.

I encourage everyone to get all the honest information they can on these subjects. Knowledge is power.

What's The Chance Of Food Shortages In The U.S.?

Does anyone, other than myself, notice the continual news reports concerning civil unrest, food shortages, famine, starvation? It's increasingly hard to find any real reporting in mainstream media. Then, when something finally is brought up, it's glazed over and quickly swept away. Of course, there is one news network, Fox, that often enough brings some real news to the forefront.

The sad and mostly unknown truth is that the U.S.A. is teetering at the brink of suffering monumental food price inflation. “Not here?” you say? Think again my friend.

Some projections for the coming year say that food prices could increase by 700% or more. Glenn Beck, Fox News.

Starting Friday, January 14th I'll be writing in with the weeks reports and advice on just how you and your family can survive in the face of economic collapse, war or natural disaster.

Every one is asked to offer your feed back and insights.

I encourage everyone to educated themselves about the real possibility of food inflation for our nation, indeed the world. Gather the whole truth from whatever sources you may have. Don't let your family be one of the families that is totally unprepared for disaster and/or food shortages. The power is yours, the responsibility is yours.
